Lessons From the Edge is an insider’s look not only at the workings of the US State Department’s diplomatic corps, but also to what was happening in Ukraine before this year-long war. The book is a timely memoir by Marie Yovanovitch, an experienced, respected and now retired diplomat who last served as US Ambassador to Ukraine. She is also known for her testimony in Congress’s impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump.
