The Council of Local Leaders, who brought you the League's Wabanaki in Maine series, invites you to an advocacy wrap-up webinar, featuring League volunteer and advocate Ann Luther and League Advocacy Program Coordinator Will Hayward. They will be discussing the bills the LWVME advocated for and opposed last session and what is being carried over in the next session.
Also, there will be a discussion about two laws the League was instrumental in passing: Automatic Voter Registration, and Semi-Open Primaries, both of which will be implemented this year.
