Volunteer Blitz: opportunities to work with LWVME

Preparing for elections and informing voters is a year-round process. We're already gearing up for what's to come in 2024, and you can support our year-round efforts. No season is a quiet season here at the League. If we're going to break records and become the state with the highest voter turnout in 2024, it doesn't happen overnight.

Join the Voter Engagement Team

Expected Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per month

This team meets every other week to guide and coordinate voter engagement work being done by the state and local leagues. If you're interested in our voter guides, youth engagement work, local government guide, voter registration drives, door canvass, or any of the other ways we work to connect with new and existing voters around the state, this is a way to keep up with what's going on and help us make the best decisions about how we do this work. 2024 is going to be a year full of opportunities to engage with voters. Sign up for the meeting on December 7 at 10 AM.

Email Evan Murray at evan@lwvme.org for more information.

Join the kickoff on December 11 to learn more about how we'll get the word out in advance of Maine's first semi-open primary.
